Valorisation des rebuts céramique au sein d'une structure Emmaüs
Project lead A demain Maurice (Harmonie Begon)
× Partner Emmaüs Mundolsheim (Zoé Nehlig)
Led by designer Harmonie Begon (A demain Maurice) in partnership with the Emmaüs Mundo work integration scheme, this action research project accompanies the move of Emmaüs Mundo to Mundolsheim. Following the furniture upcycling (Emmaüs Inside) and textile (Patchworkers) workshops, it tackles the tableware stream: studying and documenting the current organisation, then exploring ways to reduce the quantity of broken or unsold items thrown away every day. Workshops designed with volunteer employees on integration contracts made it possible to experiment with upcycling techniques by decorating fired ceramics, in an approach combining environmental, social and economic impact.
