What we do
Tango&Scan innovation call for projects
Every year, Tango&Scan funds creative and/or digital business projects based in the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg and led by a pair: a CCI/digital project lead teamed up with a partner from another sector (outside the CCIs).
What the scheme delivers
Measured by four impact studies by BETA (University of Strasbourg / CNRS), editions 2012 to 2025. Conservative estimates.
Context & challenges
The context
The Eurometropolis of Strasbourg builds on its Pact for a sustainable local economy, a roadmap drawn up with economic stakeholders to steer the area towards an economy that uses fewer resources and has a lower impact, and to position Strasbourg as a European laboratory for transitions.
Within this framework, innovation is a major lever for change. The creative and digital sectors are strategic: they boost competitiveness, bring new products and services to life, and involve users from design right through to market launch.
The challenges
Tango&Scan supports creative and digital business projects based in the Eurometropolis of Strasbourg. The call for projects encourages encounters, skills transfer and cross-fertilisation around a shared project, between a player from the cultural, creative or digital industries and a player from another economic sector.
The scheme aims to design original goods and services, strengthen the creativity and competitiveness of businesses, consolidate the area’s creative and digital sectors, reveal local talent and support new business projects.
