Villes flottantes

Led by Numered Conseil, a Strasbourg consultancy founded in 2009 by Cécile Palusinski and known for its collection of enhanced e-books and later for its “Under The Starry Vault” brand of augmented reality sound frescoes, in partnership with multidisciplinary artist Elsa Mroziewicz, Villes Flottantes combines a monumental augmented reality sound fresco (up to 2.50 x 12 m) with an augmented leporello book reproducing the work in a small format. Viewers wander through imaginary, animated floating cities, discovering solutions to the ecological challenges facing the oceans, in an approach that builds bridges between art and science to inspire wonder, inform and encourage action.
