Touchez-voir !

Led by Régis Kern, manager of Inkludo, with c’cité (formerly the Fédération des Aveugles Alsace Lorraine Grand Est), the association L’Art au-delà du Regard and the ESAT L’Évasion in Sélestat, Touchez-voir! is a collection of 18 famous paintings (the Mona Lisa, Munch’s The Scream, a nude by Modigliani) adapted for the first time in colour 3D relief printing, with accessible descriptions, to raise awareness of the accessibility of art among the public and cultural institutions. One of the paintings, based on a canvas by the blind Alsatian painter Jacques Halon, is described in audio by a blind narrator, Christelle Kleiling. Gathered in a case with braille, large print, audio and digital materials, the collection is available for hire by museums, libraries and disability awareness days.
