TAVU Agence de guides virtuels / Tomi, le médiateur virtuel

Led by Atelier Pandore (Anatole Boule) with TemplAR and Brave New Media, in association with the 5e Lieu, TAVU is a virtual guide agency whose first avatar, Camille, introduces visitors to Place du Château in Strasbourg (the 5e Lieu, the Cathedral and the Palais Rohan) through a mobile app. This fully virtual guide interacts through text, but also through images, videos, sounds and 3D thanks to augmented reality technology, and offers a digital backpack to keep a record of your visits. In one hour, users discover unusual anecdotes, such as the Cathedral’s original polychromy, and their “totem museum” within the Palais Rohan, encouraging them to come back and explore other sides of the city.
