Sous leurs branches

Sous leurs branches is a new format of geolocated audio fiction developed by Les Ensembles 2.2, whose first prototype is set on the Sentier des Châtaigniers in Lichtenberg, in the Northern Vosges Regional Nature Park. The project offers geolocated storytelling at the crossroads of contemporary creation, environmental outreach and open data: each tree becomes the starting point for a story (a tale, a reworked myth, a micro-fiction or a naturalist’s observation) that walkers choose freely, with some sequences taking a playful form close to geocaching. This prototype is part of a European project launched in 2026, aiming for a format that can be replicated elsewhere. In parallel, Atelier Kutsch and Studio Cynara are developing dedicated signage in local wood, while a business and legal model is being drawn up with lawyer Pascal Reynaud.
