Smart Heating Patch

Bringing together the start-up Blackleaf, the engineering consultancy ATTA02 and visual artist Ben Jack Nash, Smart Heating Patch is developing a new graphene-based electric heating system. Blackleaf contributes its expertise in the environmentally responsible production of this material and its integration into heating coatings, while ATTA02 supports the industrial prototyping of the device. Built into modular, movable insulating panels, the heating patch delivers optimal heat conversion and distribution, better energy management and lower manufacturing costs. Ben Jack Nash is also designing an art installation showcasing this technology, which is particularly well suited to the energy renovation of buildings.
