Red Ramp

Since 2017, Alfacem has been working with Redberry on Red One™, an Alsatian platform for the rapid detection of micro-organisms in water, food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, delivering automated results in a matter of minutes. Use of the platform by its first customers revealed an additional need: processing several samples in parallel while ensuring that the micro-organisms detected can be cultured. Red Ramp (PrepaRed) is a filtration ramp that prepares a batch of samples for culture before analysis with Red One™, without changing capsule. Alfacem brings its expertise in mechanics and prototyping, while Redberry draws up the specifications and validates the microbiological aspects. After several months of testing, a v2 of the equipment is ready to reach Red One™ customers.
