Red Incub

The Red One™ platform, developed by Redberry in Alsace in collaboration with Alfacem, detects contaminating micro-organisms in water, food, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, with results obtained in a few minutes in a fully automated way, including outside the laboratory. Following the development of PrepaRed, which filters several samples at once, the Red Incub project focused on designing specific consumables (capsules and accessories) that bring the cells into contact with nutrients over a short period and in an ergonomic way, to ensure that the cells can be cultured. The prototypes were tested for several months before an industrial version was rolled out to customers.
