Orthomaster

After 18 years practising orthopaedics all over the world, Guillaume Lê founded OrthoMaster with developer Hugo Taieb, starting from an observation: although 19 million orthoses and splints are dispensed in France every year, accounting for more than a billion euros reimbursed by the national health insurance system, healthcare professionals receive too little support to advise properly on these products, with a risk of ineffectiveness or even lasting harm if they are misused. OrthoMaster gives healthcare practitioners the means to build their expertise through an app co-developed with professionals: training split into practical micro-modules, an algorithm to help choose the best care, product content, patient information sheets and sector news, all to improve the quality of orthopaedic care.
