Miroir connecté

Led by FS Expert’s FabLab LabHidouille with the association Familles Solidaires Alsace, the Miroir Connecté (Connected Mirror) is an enhanced personal assistant designed for people made vulnerable by age, illness or disability. While commercial connected mirrors offer generic features that are poorly suited to people with cognitive or physical disabilities, this open-source device offers evolving applications that support independence and improve the comfort, safety and social connections of residents and their carers alike, thanks to a range of connected sensors. Its design is based on the circular economy and recycling, and the project draws on the expertise of carers and those they care for, to relieve the latter of repetitive tasks.
