Les Sapin Bleus

Led by the Strasbourg children’s author Sylvie de Mathuisieulx, who has written more than a hundred books for children and teenagers, in partnership with the collective Les Sapins Bleus, four founders brought together in a business and employment cooperative, the project offers eco-designed Christmas decorations and gifts made in France. A children’s book and decorative hanging ornaments made of wood and recycled materials tell the story of an area at the crossroads of the Vosges, Alsace and Franche-Comté, through the four seasons. Imagined by Strasbourg artists, made by craftspeople from Franche-Comté and then assembled in an ESAT (a sheltered workshop), these products were successfully launched at the Strasbourg Christmas Market in December 2023.
