La musette, par Manivelle

A Strasbourg bicycle maker since 2018, Manivelle has teamed up with the work integration project Libre Objet, which has specialised in textile work since 1997, to design La Musette, a handlebar bag that turns into a shoulder bag when the rider leaves their bike. Designed and handmade in France, it is intended to carry everyday essentials (wallet, phone) as well as a little shopping, such as vegetables or a bottle. The raw material comes from salvaged lorry tarpaulins, sorted, cut and cleaned by people on integration programmes supported by Libre Objet, giving a second life to a material destined for the scrapheap while staying true to Manivelle’s responsible manufacturing DNA.
