ICARIO

Led by Drone Alsace, a drone services and expertise company working in geomatics, technical inspection and audiovisual production, with Virtual Journey, a specialist in narrative and sensory tours of cultural sites, ICARIO allows visitors to a tourist site to complement a classic ground-level visit with a real-time aerial tour. Comfortably settled in deckchairs and equipped with immersive video headsets, up to 100 visitors at a time receive live footage filmed by a drone piloted on site, with commentary from a tour guide providing historical detail. The experience is open to everyone from 4 to 77 and also addresses accessibility for people with reduced mobility, as the drone can reach places that are hard to access, such as the platform of Strasbourg Cathedral.
