Hubical

Led by Emmanuel Viau, Hubical addresses a public health issue: the information given to patients before and during a clinical study is currently delivered ineffectively, leading to poorly informed consent, drop-outs during studies and a risk to both safety and the reliability of results. Hubical trains and educates patients through a digital platform hosting medical information pathways tailor-made for each clinical trial and made available to recruiting doctors. The script for each pathway, drawn up from the trial protocol, is put into plain language by a scientific team and then brought to life visually by the medical illustrator Yvan Freund and the acoustic designer Coralie Diatkine (Sound Is More), with an interactive timeline that helps patients find their way and comprehension questionnaires.
