Devised and designed by professionals at the Centre Auguste Jacoutôt of the Association Adèle de Glaubitz with the studio 128dB and Almédia, Entendons-nous bien! is an interactive awareness video on the reality of deafness and hearing impairment. Many preconceived ideas and questions persist when welcoming a person with a hearing impairment: how do they hear? How should we welcome and communicate with them? The project takes the form of a “choose your own adventure” video, accessible on any device, which involves viewers in reflecting on what they have just seen. Touches of humour in the script and some deliberately offbeat answer options take the preachiness out of the exercise.
