D'arbre en arbre

Led by web designer Michel Ravey with Numered Conseil, an agency founded by Cécile Palusinski, D’Arbre en Arbre (Arbres-Mondes) is an enhanced e-book bringing together author Cécile Palusinski, illustrator Elsa Mroziewicz, visual artist Saba Niknam and musician Jean-Paul Le Goff, driven by a wish to question humanity’s relationship with nature through the universal archetype of the tree. Using a world map, readers are invited on a journey in words, images and sounds through several emblematic forests, including Yakushima in Japan and Corcovado National Park in Costa Rica, encouraging contemplative immersion far from the fast pace of usual digital reading. This transmedia project has since been extended with a collection of illustrated poems and a pop-up book.
