Conception du prototype Bye Blues baby

Founded by neuroscientists Dr Daniela Verra and Dr Domitille Boudard, the Strasbourg start-up Bye Blues is designing, with independent designer Alix Videlier, the Bye Blues baby lamp, specially conceived for new parents’ night-time awakenings. The optical characteristics of the light it emits are drawn directly from scientific research in chronobiology, in order to reduce the impact of night-time waking on the wellbeing of both parents and baby while preserving the body’s natural rhythms and helping them fall back to sleep. Its shape, designed with Alix Videlier Design Studio, makes it easy to carry from room to room and to hang (on a shower rail or the back of a chair) so that it fits in with the realities of new parents’ nights.
