Collaboration Harmonie Begon & Poterie Ernewein- Haas

The creative studio à demain Maurice, led by designer and illustrator Harmonie Begon, puts design at the service of craftsmanship and regards as craft any alternative to mass, standardised production, in homage to William Morris’s Arts & Crafts movement. Since 2018, it has been working with Poterie Ernewein-Haas, a family of master art potters based in Soufflenheim for generations, who shape clay from the Haguenau forest by hand using ancestral methods. The collaboration showcases craftsmanship and heritage through an exchange of know-how between designer and artisans, offering handcrafted, made-to-measure everyday objects for local businesses and projects, far removed from museum reverence or any sense of obsolescence.
