Cloud Platform

French start-up Leanspace, which is developing the first cloud platform for space missions, teamed up with Venture Orbital Systems (VOS), an aerospace start-up developing the Zephyr nanosatellite launcher, to meet the need for an end-to-end data management solution linking launcher test bench telemetry to cloud databases. After a first control application proved insufficiently responsive in real time, a partnership with Clemessy, a supplier of test benches for launchers such as Ariane, led to the creation of a plug-in connecting the bench to the Leanspace cloud and a central repository for test data. Feedback from VOS enabled Leanspace to improve its platform and build a starter kit that other New Space companies can now reuse.
