ChargeMap BOX

Led by ChargeMap, a company specialising in tools for finding electric vehicle charging points, in partnership with S4 Services, a craft business specialising in the design and repair of electronic boards, the ChargeMap Box project aims to design and build a connected charging point for electric vehicles. The charging point must be able to tell users of the ChargeMap service, which lists more than 25,000 charging points across Europe, whether or not it is currently in use. It must also allow its operator (restaurant, hotel or local authority) to charge for recharging via the ChargeMap mobile app, at a competitive price. The project, with a budget of €49,825, was supported by a Scan grant of €20,000.
