CardioDrone
Project lead MATTIS (Mattis Hauchecorne)
× Partner TUBA MULHOUSE SUD (Chloé Gignet)
Led by Mattis Hauchecorne (Mattis Aero) with Tubà Mulhouse Sud Alsace, CardioDrone starts from an alarming observation: in France, the survival rate for cardiac arrest is just 8%, as the average response time of professional emergency services is 14 minutes when it should be 3. The project aims to cut this delay by developing a defibrillator drone for professional emergency services, in order to eliminate inequalities between urban and rural areas. In time, the drone could carry other sensors, such as a thermal camera or an air analysis sensor, to address other challenges faced by firefighters. 3D design and theoretical simulation made it possible to define the right configuration for the drone, leading to a first tested prototype.
