Bike x Manga x Print

Led by author Tony Manent with the screen-printing workshop of Pierre Faedi (Atelier Garage Print), Bike x Manga x Print tests an alternative business model for a cycling-themed comic, combining online pre-publication with sales of limited-edition prints and independent management of translations. The comic The Witches Cycle was first serialised on the American website The Radavist, before a contract was signed with the publisher Dargaud, which allowed Tony Manent to keep his rights to the English and Japanese versions and to sell his own merchandise. The print release with Dargaud and the sale of prints with Pierre Faedi brought this model to life, strengthening the author’s position in his publishing negotiations.
