Atlace

Led by Green Phoenix, an Alsatian company specialising in the collection and recovery of biowaste, in partnership with cargo bike manufacturer Kambikes, the Atlace is a cargo bike able to carry up to 400 kg and 3 m3 without compromising manoeuvrability, so it can reach anywhere in the city centre. Compatible with standard logistics equipment (pallets, pallet boxes, cardboard boxes), it halves the number of trips needed and makes it easier to combine with other modes of transport. Patented in 2021 and prototyped thanks to a previous edition of Tango&Scan, the Atlace, designed, manufactured and assembled in Alsace, is now entering pre-industrialisation, with the aim of selling it on a large scale while keeping a local manufacturing model.
