Atelier Nomade

L’Atelier Nomade is a travelling workshop dedicated to passing on woodworking skills, set up in a converted trailer so it can go out to meet the public. Rooted in the forest landscape of the Northern Vosges, it offers workshops suited to everyone: young people choosing a career path, people retraining, residents curious about the forest or professionals keen to share their practices. Joining, cutting, drilling, carving, green wood and reclaimed wood: the formats, led by wood professionals and a facilitator from the Les Chabots association, are adapted to different levels and settings. The project champions an inclusive approach to skills transmission while raising awareness of sustainable forest management and the value of local resources, with the support of Scierie Lejeune.
