Led by Irish scientist and engineer Niamh Shaw (Dream Big Space Communications) with the agency ViRtual Création, Amélie & JoJo and their amazing space portal is a book designed to spark children’s curiosity about the world around them, enhanced with augmented reality content that lets them play while discovering the space sector. Augmented reality builds a more positive relationship with literacy and numeracy, areas many children struggle with, breaking down barriers for those who might think a career in space is beyond them. The app, designed for iOS and Android phones and tablets with wide compatibility, will be published in France and the United Kingdom.
